Grenade found amongst the onions by German harvester

A man from the Southern German area of Eppingen, was recently sorting onions when he suddenly noticed a grenade instead of an onion in his hands! Local Police said that the worker took the device, with a 7.5 cm calibre, to a nearby forest. Weapons experts were called in to diffuse the device but determined that the propelling charge was burned and the grenade could therefore not explode. The Police assume that the harvester picked up the explosive grenade as he was collecting onions.
