The IPM Essen, Germany, the world's largest horticultural fair, has a daughter: the FLORATEC IPM India, which is to be held from 22-24 August 2014, in Bangalore. The event in India is organized by Media Today, the largest media group in India, and trade show organiser. Mr Nagvi, CEO of Media Today, recently said at a conference in Bangalore that he is very happy and proud of the fact that Media Today, together with IPM Essen, will organise the IPM fair in India.
Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka, a State with 50 million inhabitants and the largest agricultural production area of India. According to Egon Galinnis of IPM Essen, the new partnership will not only strengthen the IPM's position as the world's leading horticultural fair but significantly benefit from new visitors and exhibitors.
