To attend Asia Fruit Logistica for second time

Asia increasingly attractive for UNIVEG

UNIVEG will be represented for the second time at Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong. Attending Fruit Logistica confirms UNIVEG’s ambition to grow its sales and sourcing activities in Asia, an increasingly attractive market for the Group.

Asia Fruit Logistica ensures a pan-Asian focus, with senior buyers and trade visitors from over 60 countries in attendance.

UNIVEG’s booth is located in Hall 3 (stand D-26) and is designed to establish the necessary commercial framework and to find the right partners and secure customers.

UNIVEG is seeking to unlock the potential of this increasingly attractive market place and to meet the challenges of servicing the individual markets within Asia. To demonstrate UNIVEG’s commitment to the region, it recently opened a sales office in Malaysia to speed access to customer contacts in the Far East and link them with our export operations in South Africa, South America, Turkey and Europe.

Francis Kint, CEO of UNIVEG Group says: “The Asian countries will clearly play an increasing role in the global trade of fruit, both in imports and exports. This is our second participation to this event. This year, we have the ambition to transform starting business contacts into strong, long-lasting partnerships. Through our network of growing and export companies in all major growing areas such as South Africa, South America, Turkey and Europe, we can offer a full basket out of one hand.”
