InI expanding into pomegranate arils and bananas

Our pomegranates are promoted under the brand name "Kimaye" which means divine in Sanskrit," said Kalpesh Khivasara, General Manager at InI. "Our fruit has been well received in Europe, Middle East and South East Asia. The Kimayepomegranate goes through five check-points before it reaches the consumer. These range from visual inspections for defects to being tested in leading laboratories for pesticide residue limits."
Post harvest infrastructure, packaging and transportation is managed so that the fruit is preserved for a long shelf life retaining its freshness over a period of 2 months after harvest.
Pomegranate arils are extracted from the best known quality Bhagwa pomegranates. "Our stringent quality norms and critical control points eliminating the chances of any external contamination to allow the arils to have a shelf life of 14 days," explains Khivasara.
This hygienic ready to eat packing makes the whole experience hassle free along with providing good health benefits for consumers. "A high convenience level at the consumer end has revolutionized the whole pomegranate experience and has huge demand that we aim to serve."
Internationally InI Farms supplies Europe and Middle Eastern countries. Additionally, new opportunities are being developed in South East Asia, Far East and Canada in 2013. The products include fresh pomegranates, arils (extracted and pre-packed) and banana. The brand under which products are sold is Kimaye – the sanskrit word for Divine.
