Brazilian orange juice exports plummet

The Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), reported that the Brazilian orange juice exports decreased by 8.1% in November. Shipments totaled 190,600 tons compared with 207,400 tons in November of last year. In October this year, there was a
growth of 2.25% (186,400 t).

Revenue from the sale of orange juice was USD 205.000 million in November, a drop of 21.9%, compared to 262,600 million in November 2011. This is an increase of 6.65%, USD 192.200 million compared to October this year.
