Despite the economic crisis in Europe, grape and avocado exports experienced an increase of 80% in the last year, said the manager of plant health of the National Service of Agrarian Health, Luis Neyra Huamaní.
He added that the countries to which they export are Brazil, the United States, Spain, and most recently to Asia, whose market is one of the most demanding, since they ask for high standard quality.
"The issue of exports is variable. Unlike other years, paprika and artichoke exports decreased," he said.
