Germany: France chief supplier of cauliflower on German markets

In 2011 Germany imported 73,284 tons of cauliflower, the majority of which (49,795 tons) came from France. France is followed by Italy (13,547 tons) and Spain (with 6,043 tons). The Netherlands are but a small player on this market with 1,253 tons. Remarkable are the shifts between 2007 and 2011, as the table below shows. Spanish produce has been gaining ground over the years. French supplies fluctuate heavily, from 44,188 tons in 2010 to 60,175 tons in 2007.
