market report week 43

Germany: Portuguese Valencia still not a good colour

At the German wholesale market in week 43, mainly South African Valencia Late and Navelate were to be found on the market. The prices were pretty much stable. Spain opened the European season with Navelina, 42 or 70 pieces per box. Here 17 Euro for 15 kilos was the max. Portugal also brought early Valencia's on the German market. They could be recognised by the irregular colour. The average price for them was 14 Euro for 15 kilos.
