Spain: Citrus exports grew 67% until August

Between January and August, companies from Almeria have sold 30.6 million kilos of citrus products in foreign markets, representing a 68.7% increase compared to the same period in 2011. In total, the companies have invoiced in 656 operations almost 19 million Euro, 67% more than in 2011, according to data from Extenda (based on the last report of DataComex). As a result of the value of these exports, Almería is the third province of Andalusia and the eighth of Spain.
