UK: Warnings over frozen strawberries after norovirus outbreak

Environmental health chiefs from East Renfrewshire Council are advising locals to check their freezers for food products which are subject to a suspension of imports. The products - frozen Chinese strawberries or other soft fruit - are made by Laiyang Jiatong Foodstuff Co Ltd in China.

Chinese Authorities have suspended exports of the food while they carry out an investigation. The advice follows an outbreak of Norovirus in Germany, which has affected 11200 people so far.
