Dutch wholesaler Ter Wal goes bankrupt
The trading activities of Ter Wal BV started in 1912. The company is engaged in purchasing, selling, processing and distribution of fresh produce. The customers consist of large supermarket chains, speciality vegetable and smaller (mobile) stores. The family business has grown into one of the largest suppliers of fresh produce in northern Holland and is known for its wide assortment.
A contract with a discount chain at very competitive prices has proved challenging operation.
