Netherlands: Cresco extends assortment

Cresco participated in the AGF Detail in Houten, after years of not attending fairs. The reason for this was the introduction of a number of new products. The supplier of cress, edible flowers and garden cherries from Honselerdijk went into collaboration with a British company named Westlands, among others.

Simon Coles of Westlands travelled to Houten to give illustration on the microleaves and sea vegetables, which are mainly sold through wholesalers, chefs and processors. Cresco's assortment contains Golden Pea Shoots, Tendrill Pea, Salade Pea Shoots, Red Pak Choi, Red Vein Sorrel, Red Mustard Frills, Red Chard, Red Amaranth, Fiat Parsley, Celery leaf, Mikro Fennel and micro water cherries, among others.

"Oriental and Salad Mixed leaf are two of the best among the micro leaf. These products are easy to process for the final user and form a mix with a lot of taste," adds Rita.
