Exporter Elite has already been active for a period of 12 years selling vegetables. First on the Dutch market and then the company moved to Belgium. The Turkish dealers are specialised in the supply of tomatoes on the vine of hallmark Elite. The manager is Hasan Akarca. Since three months Elite has a warehouse at Mechelse Veilingen.

but now it is all of Germany" the men tell with enthusiasm. "We mainly have Turkish clients. Clients know us because of the Elite tomatoes and therefore we gave the company this name. Elite tomatoes, as the name already says, are really the best Belgian tomatoes on the vine. Always of a beautiful colour and taste, a good size and durable for a long period. With these good qualities we have convinced all our clients. Also when we were in the Netherlands we already supplied Belgian tomatoes. Also the price shows that the quality of these tomatoes is good, as this is always higher than for 'common' tomatoes.
"In addition to Elite tomatoes we also supply other vegetables, such as lettuce, cucumbers and peppers. During the winter months also vegetables, such as leeks and cabbage." The exporters are very happy with their new location. "It is a big advantage that we are so close to the auction house.
