First Rei melons arrive in Rotterdam
They arrived in a new carton box (high ventilation) that besides increasing their shelf life, gives the pallet a very nice presentation.
Well known for its top quality, Itaueira is improving the safety of the fruits year after year by using the newest technology available in the market. This year, all the packing houses are using ozone in the washing water and in the air of all cold chambers with great success against fungus and bacteria.
Itaueira is the only melon grower in Brazil that produces and harvests melons all year round.
