The current director of Investment and Business of the Penta Company and Commercial Engineer from the Universidad Católica, Marco Comparini, is now the new director of Hortifrut, until the next ordinary shareholders meeting that will take place in 2013, when a new director will be elected.
Comparini has held important positions in the Penta group, among which is the general manager of the Penta Bank, Penta Business corporate manager and director of AFP Cuprum, Penta Vida.
He replaces Gonzalo Jimenez, Economist and Master in Finance from the University of Chile, who served as director of the Company since November 30, 2010.
During his administration, he played an important role as advisor to the Moller family, being a great contribution in the IPO process of the company.
Jimenez will continue as director of the family business group.
