Russia: Palestinian food representatives at WorldFood Moscow

Companies from the Palestinian food industry representing fresh herbs, vegetables, processed and pickled vegetables, Dead Sea salt, dates and other Palestinian exportable delicacies will be visiting Moscow from the 17th to 20th September 2012.
Walking the 21st International Food & Drinks Exhibition floor "WorldFood Moscow," these companies are organizing matchmaking sessions at the exhibition to promote their products.

Known for quality products and produce, the West Bank, which has developed enormously over the past number of years in the area of fresh herbs, vegetables, date and in the processing industry with the highest international standard, is now exporting to North America, the European Union, the Gulf Region and more recently to Russia.

The program to Russia is primarily organized to develop new partnerships with key buyers from the retail and wholesale market industry and to promote Palestinian exports. The Palestinian participation is facilitated and supported by the Compete Project, a USAID funded project that aims to strengthen the competitiveness and export potential of the region.

The Palestinian participants will also be visiting local supermarkets, Moscow wholesale markets and logistic distribution centers to gain an in-depth understanding of country regulations and market requirements.
