Argentina: Government will pay contribution to fruit growers

The governor of Rio Negro (Argentina), Alberto Weretilneck announced that the provincial government will pay the second part of the grant (totaled 7.5 million pesos) to the 409 uninsured producers affected by hail this Friday 14th. In addition, on Thursday 20th, the second part of the grant will be paid for pruning. This is the second disbursement of three, totaling 42.8 million pesos.
 
It should be noted that the payment of these contributions will be made through the various municipalities where the producers affected by hail are located. These contributions came from a consensual agreement between the Department of Pomology and different Producer Chambers.
