Belgium: foodcareplus to ship apples to Mongolia

foodcareplus has launched an all-inclusive container shipping service for perishable commodities to Mongolia. Using the expertise of its local office in Xingang (Tianjin), China, foodcareplus ships reefer containers from their international port of origin to Zamyn-Üüd, Mongolia via the port of Xingang in China. foodcareplus also handles all transit and customs documentation for bonded transportation.

foodcareplus offers temperature controlled shipping to Mongolia from any port in the world. After arrival in Xingang, all transit and customs requirements are completed before the reefer containers are taken from the port terminal to Erenhot in the Inner Mongolia region of China. In Erenhot, the shipment must pass Chinese border inspection prior to entering the free trade zone channel on the way to Zamyn-Üüd. Consignees arrange for transportation into Mongolia, as foreign companies are not allowed to operate in the country. foodcareplus ensures the integrity of the perishable commodities is maintained throughout the entire shipment to Mongolia by using gensets and an intensive follow-up and monitoring service.

As part of this new service, foodcareplus will start shipping apples from Europe to Mongolia from September 2012.
