Germany: Revival in stone fruit market

In week 34, there was a revival in the stone fruit market on the German wholesale markets after the extremely hot weather. The top French products, yellow and white fleshed varieties sold well despite the high prices. The lowest price was paid for Italian yellow-fleshed nectarines and the highest price for white fleshed nectarines from France. The Turkish products were very popular in Frankfurt, while in Cologne sales were slow. Due to the moist weather, the quality of the fruit decreased quickly.
