US: Mann Packing to participate in Rock n Roll Marathon Series
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series is the world’s largest running series, covering 24 major markets in North America and three international destinations, with more than 471,500 participants. In addition, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series is a charity fundraising event that raised more than $256 million in 2011.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series creates a festival-like atmosphere when it comes to town – combining running, music and fun, at a two-day health and fitness expo in each city it visits, along with offering runners options including a marathon, half marathon, relays, wheelchair invitational and elite athlete invitational. There are live bands along the racecourse and a post race concert.
In addition to Sugar Snap Pea sampling, Mann will distribute future-purchase coupons to more than 35,000 attendees and have the opportunity to conduct grassroots marketing about the benefits of Mann’s product line, said Elena Hernandez, marketing and communication specialist.
“The demographics of the race participants align perfectly with our target market,” Hernandez said. “Our products appeal to active, health-minded individuals.”
Mann will be featured in Competitor Magazine, distributed regionally (55,000 circulation) and in regional and local print advertisement, along with the official event guide and official marathon website presence.
“The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series is a new venue for us to promote our products and generate awareness for Mann overall,” Hernandez said.
