Mexico: Calidad Suprema supports fruit producers

Thanks to the support from engineer Ricardo Vega Pérez, Vice-President of Fruit and Vegetable Safety at Mexico Calidad Suprema, and Dr Enrique Sanchez Cruz, Chief Director of SENASICA, conventions on pineapple, papaya, mango and avocado crops have been held from the month of June for the implementation of Pollution Risk Reduction Systems and Good Usage, Agrochemical Management, giving support to 533 production units and 33 of packaging, with the target of migrating to the MéxicoG.A.P. certification.



Actions taken so far include:
Scheduling of the first training courses for producers, packers, technicians and professionals in Pollution Risk Reduction Systems, programmed for late August. In the meantime, technical assistance will also be in place for the implementation of the aforementioned systems in crops and laboratory analysis.
