Clause exhibiting internationally

Clause’s stand at the Shouguang Seed Trade Fair in April 2012 in northern China was officially recognized as one of the top 10 participating at the event. The fair gave Clause an opportunity to reinforce the branding of its products on that market through a local team and two Chinese retailers. Clause’s varieties of zucchinis, pimentos, tomatoes and brassica, which it has adapted to the Chinese market, were proudly displayed at the stand.

One month later, Clause Spain was at the Expo Levante fair in Spain (Níjar) from 9 to 12 May. It presented a wide range of tomatoes, from cherry and cocktail tomatoes to more traditional varieties like Raf, Beef and green tomatoes. Five new varieties of tomato were introduced to delegates. This event brought together the main representatives of local agriculture in a display area of some 5,000 m2.

At the same time in Thailand, the subsidiary Clause Thailand was running a stand at the Horti Asia tradeshow in Bangkok. Its first time participating at the event was a big success. Attendees were able to familiarize themselves with the Clause products, recently launched on the Thai and Southeast Asian markets. The annual Bangkok event is one of the largest tradeshows in Southeast Asia, with more than 10,000 delegates from Thailand and overseas.

More recently, Clause organized an international field day in Amman in Jordan, from 17 to 19 July. Nearly 200 varieties of 13 different species were presented at the HM-CLAUSE research center. Around 100 partners from Africa, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East made the journey to see how these varieties perform in Jordanian growing conditions. Specialists of each species were on hand to provide personalized advice to participants.
