Harold Van Gool new Grodan Sales Director North America

Harold Van Gool (51) has been appointed Sales Director North America for the Grodan Group. He will succeed Chris Marshall who has accepted the position of Sales Director North America at the Rockfon Group. Harold brings with him more than 25 years of business development and management experience.

Harold holds both Canadian and Dutch citizenship. He has a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Guelph (1984) and holds an MBA degree from the University of Western Ontario. In 1984 Harold started his career at Plant Products Co. Ltd. in Brampton, Ontario and since then he has fulfilled various business
development and management positions. His most recent positions there were as Vice President Business Development and Vice President Sales and Marketing.

Effective August 1st, Harold will be the new Grodan Group Sales Director for North America. Harold is looking forward to this new challenge: "I am very much looking forward to being part of the Grodan team, providing innovative and sustainable substrate solutions to the horticultural industry in North America. The new production facilities in North America, as well as the expertise Grodan holds, will help us contribute directly to the enhancement of the quality and yield of fresh produce in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
