Germany: Kronen presents spiral cutting machine

The new spiral vegetable cutting machine S021 is a small, easy-to-use machine of reduced dimensions and can cut large, thin spirals from round and/or long vegetables such as carrots, beetroot, pumpkins, radishes, celeriac, zucchinis, swedes, potatoes, etc.

By means of variable tools a multitude of spiral thicknesses (e.g. 2 x 2 mm, 2 x 8 mm, 2 x 10 mm - other versions on request) can be produced with a max. product length of 250 mm.

The S021 spiral vegetable cutting machine is driven electrically and pneumatically and is very easy to operate and handle:

  1. place the product, e.g. carrot
  2. press the switch
  3. the carrot is cut into regular and fluffy spirals or spaghettis

The original result is enabling vegetable-processing companies to add a new touch to conventional product presentation in the market with very attractive, fine, springy strands similar to cooked spaghetti.

The S021 is a product from German company Kronen GmbH Nahrungsmitteltechnik, located in Kehl am Rhein in the South-West of Germany. Kronen machines are designed upon the maxim:

  • easy maintenance
  • simple and efficient cleaning
  • gentle product feeding
  • low running costs
