US: Curry & Company welcomes new team members

Sandra White is the newest member of Curry & Company’s sales team and will be focused on their blueberry, blackberry and sweet onion programs. She will also assist with their 52 week red, yellow and white onion programs.

White graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Agriculture Business and immediately started her career in produce. Her first job was with Del Monte Fresh at their Coral Gables, FL location where she was a sales/product coordinator. She then moved to sales at Brooks Tropicals in Homestead, FL in 2007 where she remained until joining Curry & Company.

"I love the produce industry and I’m excited to be part of team that is poised for continued growth," stated White. "The blueberry category has always intrigued me and I’ve wanted to live on the West coast. Plus, Curry & Company, although it is an international company, is still family owned. I see lots of great opportunities."

White has relocated from Florida to Curry & Company’s corporate office in Brooks, OR.

"Sandra has the enthusiasm and passion for the industry that we’ve been looking for," said company President, Matt Curry. "She has had a diverse career right out of college, is well respected by the industry and we’re quite pleased to add her to our team."

At the same time the company is also pleased to welcome Jacob Mayfield to their team as the production manager of the warehouse and packaging shed at corporate headquarters in Brooks, OR. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Agribusiness Economics and Management. Prior to Curry & Company he was with the Michael Cutler Company and Bland Farms. In his spare time Jacob is a team and calf rodeo roper.
