"Spain: ASAJA predicts an "excellent" campaign for table grape"
Last year, the area for table grapes was 5,457 hectares and production ascended to 108,769 tons.
ASAJA stated that the table grape of Murcia is quite internationalized, and of some prestige among external consumers. It's one of the most important fruits for the regional economy and it is fundamental to create an inter-professional organization that supports better the sector and has it's headquarters in Murcia.
