Spanish strawberry harvesting robot heading to US

After years of experiments and tests the strawberry harvesting robot developed by Agrobot and Adesva will be operational.



The machine was developed and tested in the Spanish city of Huelva. There was serious interest from California in the harvesting robot and now the profitability and performance are proven, the machine is ready to leave for the United States. There, this machine will be sold. With the machine, the cost of fresh strawberries can be reduced by 50% and for the processed industry by as much as 90%. The initial cost is recovered after two years. The machine provides for the processing industry in particular, great potential.
