Italy: RKM Marketing to trade stone fruit under Mediterranea brand

"Mediterranea" is a Spanish brand. Starting from today, the Italian company RK Marketing becomes an exclusive seller for "Mediterranea" fruit. The exclusive sales agreement is limited to the following markets: Russia, East European countries and overseas. Mediterranea has always stood for high quality Spanish fruits, in particular for nectarines, paraguayos and platerinas (flat nectarines) and peaches.

In the last few years Mediterranea has invested a lot in new varieties, such as "Big Top" nectarines and "Honey" of Zaiger, creating a line of great flavour and "100% colour".

Mediterranea brand is famous in most markets but above all in Russia where it holds an important market share for its quality and volumes.

About 8,000 tons of nectarines and peaches and 2,000 tons of paraguayos will be traded by next week.

RK Marketing is an Italian country which puts together both Italian and foreign fruit and vegetables.

Partnership between Mediterranea and RKM comes from a historical relationship and above all because new trade strategies are needed to face markets, in particular the Russian one, in a new, efficient way.
