Intelleflex opens European office in Brussels

Intelleflex have announced the launch of its new EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) regional office, based in Brussels, Belgium. Erik Cotman, former Business Development and Marketing at PHI DATA, will lead the office as General Manager of EMEA.

The company opened the new office to support increasing demand for Intelleflex XC3 Technology RFID readers and tags, which deliver actionable data for on-demand visibility of the condition of temperature-sensitive products, such as food and pharmaceuticals, and other high-value assets. With Intelleflex, products can be monitored and managed throughout the supply chain without requiring the unloading of pallets or opening of containers, while also addressing government and industry regulations for standards-based traceability, safety and quality.

"Customers are increasingly in need of actionable data about the condition of their products to manage quality, not just monitor it. Actionable data enables the intelligent supply chain and reduces waste and improves the delivered quality and safety of their temperature- sensitive products," said Peter Mehring, president and CEO of Intelleflex.

Erik Cotman is taking on the role as the General Manager of EMEA and will be responsible for managing the new Intelleflex EMEA office. With nearly 20 years of experience and extensive channel management and business development background within the RFID industry and emerging markets, Cotman will lead Intelleflex’s channel and sales efforts throughout the region.

"I’m excited to be joining Intelleflex. The company’s XC3 Technology provides businesses with a new level of RFID performance and capabilities for capturing, aggregating and sharing actionable data to improve supply chain operations and track high-value assets," said Erik Cotman. "Having worked as a system integrator in EMEA, I know Intelleflex fills the gap where neither passive nor active RFID technology provides an answer and will help our partners deliver new capabilities to their customers."

Intelleflex products are available exclusively through its network of value-added resellers who combine their software, services and expertise to deliver a complete solution.
