US: Purity announces first organic Peruvian avocados

Purity Organic Produce (formerly Pacific Organic Produce) announces the historic arrival of the first organic avocados from Peru to arrive in the USA, beginning the third week of June.

Purity, a leading organic tree fruit marketer, and founder of Purity Organic Juices, will be offering a steady three month supply of Peruvian organic avocados in all sizes as well as a bagged avocado program.

Steve Akagaki, Director of Sales and Marketing, states, "We are very excited to be the first importer of Peruvian organic avocados this season and are already experiencing strong demand being that the organic Mexican avocado supply has dwindled rapidly this season. The Peruvian quality is there with very good oil content, so we expect sales to be brisk."

Purity Organic expects to be the only importer of certified organic avocados from Peru for the entire summer season.
