Spanish melon keeps on low

June didn't bring the melon price recovery and watermelon continues a dropping price tendency, despite keeping its profitability. Yellow melon quotes between 0.40 and 0.20 Euro, "piel de sapo" registers a first price of 0.44 Euro and ends at 0.25 Euro, while Galia varies between 0.40 and 0.15 Euro per kilo.

Watermelon sales continue last week's rhythm. Black watermelon quotes between 0.20 and 0.10 Euro and the striped melon registers prices from 0.20 to 0.08 Euro per kilo, according to data from Andalucia government.
