Shimla Hills offers a wide range of tropical fruits such as mango, pineapple, papaya, banana, pomegranate and guava. Vegetables like potato, onion, tomato, cucumber and ginger are also being offered. They are also the only supplier of concentrated passion fruit from India.
Seoul Food 2012 opened new markets to the company and allowed Shimla Hills to strengthen their partnership with Korean importers and even meet new companies from Asia.
Furthermore, Shimla Hills exhibited their processed fruit products aiming to emphasize the method of Individually Quick Frozen products (IQF) or the procedure of not allowing large ice crystals to form on the fruit products which gives better quality.
"The IQF is cost effective and it brings us better prices on the international market and at the same time, increase in demand has been noticed," said business strategist Ms. Shilpa Gangwar.
Shilma Hills has 200 customers at present and continues to expand with a stable market in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. The company is HAACP and ISO 9001/2000 certified.
