Capacity public cold stores considerably increased worldwide
The members of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW),
the international association of cool and freeze stores are busy enlarging and strengthening of the cold chain all over the world in order to satisfy the requirements of the foodstuff industry. The combined space of the total number of IARW members increased by 1,8% during the last year.
The Global Top 25 of the IARW has at the moment a total op 89,28 million cubic metre at its disposal, an increase of 7% since 2011. The North American Top 25 have at the moment 72,82 million cubic metre, an increase of 2% since 2011.
IARW have members in 65 countries all over the world. The Global Top 25 list shows cool and freeze store companies with establishments in Argentina, Australia Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, the United States, Vietnam and Sweden.
