Midwest Johnny’s Be Good road tour

US: Potandon Produce and Johnny’s Fine Foods kick off their 2012 tour

Potandon Produce is proud to announce its participation with Johnny’s Fine Foods for the 2012 Johnny’s Be Good Road Tour. Potandon Produce and Johnny’s Fine Foods have teamed up to sample each company’s unique products and seasonings to thousands of consumers throughout the Midwest.

Utilizing a custom-built 1950’s style concession trailer, the two companies will be canvassing the Midwest offering samples of Klondike Brand potatoes prepared with several different Johnny’s seasonings, marinades and dressings. The one-of-a-kind concession vehicle will be an integral part of both companies’ marketing strategy for the next two years. By taking the sampling trailer to regional fairs, local festivals, corporate and store sampling events throughout the United States, the partners expect to reach a large cross-section of the American public and introduce them to the Klondike Brands potatoes.

"We believe that one of the best ways to spread the word about our delicious variety potatoes, Klondike Rose and Klondike Goldust, is to get people to try them," says Potandon’s Marketing Supervisor, Barbara Keckler. "Once consumers experience the quality and flavor of these potatoes, we know they will become customers for life. We feel the Klondike potatoes are perfectly complimented with Johnny’s Seasonings and are a great fit for this venture." Earlier this year the trailer toured California, Arizona and Utah with rave reviews from customers and consumers alike.
The Midwest leg of the tour kicked off at the Truman Festival in Grandview, Missouri on May 4, 2012. The tour will make stops throughout the Midwest this summer.
