Cooperation 24green and Growers Association Prominent in favour of apps in horticulture
Growers Association Prominent and 24green combine strengths in order to develop and apply apps in modern glass horticulture. On Monday 7 May a cooperation agreement between both parties was signed by director Martin van Gogh (24green) and director Arne van Aalst (Prominent).
Prominent will, amongst other things, start using the specially for Prominent made Prominent Drain-App. This app warns the user via e-mail or sms in case the realised draining percentage differs too much from the desired value. The actual draining data are collected via LetsGrow.com. LetsGrow.com, the platform for online storage of data, can be coupled to all known climate computers. As a consequence all members of Prominent can use the app. "24green is busy looking after the grower in order to make it easier to manage a modern company. Convenience serves the people" according to Arne van Aalst.
24green since its introduction on 19 March 2012 has been working hard in close cooperation with its users to develop many-sided solutions for the glass horticulture. Martin van Gogh: "An inclusive cooperation with entrepreneurs in horticulture is essential for the development of new solutions. Therefore 24green has now started cooperation with one of the most innovative growers associations Prominent! Prominent consists of 23 connected cultivation companies. All members grow tomatoes on the vine of different varieties.
