FCE Export SAC starts the citrus season from Peru

This week the citrus season for FCE Export SAC starts with the first shipments of Satsumas.

In the coming weeks the fruit will find its way to the markets in Europe and will be followed in June by the Mineola's (Tangelos). In August Malvaceo will be shipped.

"The season starts a bit later this year for us; due to the in general still high night temperatures the fruit was not coloring enough" says Ms. Diana Sajami, general manager of FCE Export. "Where others decided to de-green the fruit, we choose not to do so; the fruit will be not arriving in the best condition when de-greened. Where citrus from Peru still has the reputation to be better in quality, no compromise should be made on this issue".

The company will ship the fruit under the own brand "Daleska" and in the generic Peru brand boxes.
