Yesterday evening 26 March the Hispa Fruit-Roparun Dinner took place in Restaurant De Prins in Rotterdam Hillegersberg. Sporty Hispa Fruit will for the 11th time participate in the Roparun. Team 132 will on 26 May start in Paris. The Roparun 2012 is very special this year, because two are being organised. In addition to Paris the start of the event will also be in Hamburg.

The guests were welcomed by Peter Regoord yesterday. First of all he made Paul Gonzalez the centre of attention, as he won the Entrepreneurs Prize Rotterdam 2011 with his company Iberdeli. "We are very happy with this and it was quite a boost to our team" Paul proudly told.

Also ambassadress of the Roparun Nelli Cooman was present at the dinner. This year she was part of the program De Pelgrimscode. "I thought it was a tremendous experience to be part of this and had a lot of support from my little bible." Why ambassadress of the Roparun? "The beauty of the Roparun is that 90% directly goes to the good cause. It is beautiful to help our sick fellowmen in this way."

Together with his son Paul Peter Regoord put various items up for auction. From a tour of the canals in Amsterdam to tickets for soccer matches of Ajax and Feijenoord. There was also T-shirt of Christiano Ronaldo. Item by item they brought in a good amount.
Enjoyable atmosphere
Specially for team 132 Hans Borsboom sang another song in French with the chorus in Dutch with the words Hispa and Roparun. All present sang the chorus at the top of their lungs.

The daughters of Miguel Gonzalez attended to the lottery
Simon Wijers, owner of Restaurant De Prins together with his team took care of a lovely dinner.
At the end of the evening Miguel Gonzalez thanked all guests for their presence. "Although we may have little time we still all made sure to be here for our fellowman, who needs it. One of the direct things of the Roparun is also that we help people who are unknown to us. We hope that this year the proceeds will still be higher with the two Roparuns. Of course I will again be one of the competitors."
