Natura Iblea, biological agricultural company of Ispica (Ragusa), announced that starting Thursday March 22th, 2012, the harvest and marketing of novel organic carrot of Sicily will begin.

The product will be commercialized until 10 July 2012 for an amount of about 2,500 tons in the following packages:
- Bags 1 kg
- Trays 1 kg
- Boxes 10 and 8 kg
- Big bags 1 ton

For 12 years now the biological carrot from Natura Iblea has been a safe product, thanks to constant controls and analyses in the field and laboratory, also produced at zero-waste, as always in the company philosophy. The carrot are certified: Bioagricert, GlobalGAP, BioSuisse, ISO 9001, I.F.S.

The carrot is subjected to Hydro Cooler treatment and is loaded at an average temperature of 3-4 degrees centigrade, to maintain the best organoleptic qualities to its destination.

"The novel Carrot Ispica (Ragusa - Sicily) is a product always appreciated by all European consumers, and represents the first crop of carrot cake, crisp and well colored, after the winter consumption of refrigerator-stored carrot," says the administrator of the company Roberto Giadone.
