Portugal exports bulk of tomatoes to several EU destinations

A processor company in the tomato sector based in Mora (Évora), in Portugal, the Sopragol, has already exported over 90% of their production to several European countries, confirmed an administrator.

Carlos Duarte said the company exports mainly to Spain, France, Germany, Russia, England, Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark.

According to the manager, the company will also trade on the African market, especially in northern and central countries of the continent, to increase exports, which already reach more than 90 percent.
