Another remarkable characteristic of this variety is its dark green color. In this sense, Morales added that "the color will also depend on handling and the characteristics of the farm, but what is certain, is that it is a fruit with a quite dark color, very necessary for the market, as it requires dark colors and not light ones."
Furthermore, this variety has a strong root system that favors the assimilation of nutrients and provides greater assurance when confronted to winter's rigor. This allows the plant to be used in later transplantation or in colder areas of the coast of Almeria.
