Once we have the approval, we can focus on exporting melons to the U.S., which is not as important as to be able to do so in Europe and Asia," he said.
He pointed out that exports to the U.S. are complicated because it is a country that has a lot of requirements and holds the idea that Mexican melons are full of pests.
