Although Psa destroyed many plants, the variety Summer has seen no consequences even if its plant was bred in 2009. Kiwifruits will be sold in New Zealand.

If Psa doesn't arrive in the area of Kerikeri (safe till now), at least 100 hectares of this variety will be planted in the next three years. Summer is the only variety with early ripeness and distinctive taste in the country of 'All Blacks'.
