Netherlands: Van Amerongen appoints new Managing Director and launches new logo
Rob Veltman has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Van Amerongen CA Technology. Rob Veltman has a long experience in fruit storage, first as a scientist at the Wageningen University and since 2003 as Manager Sales & Marketing at Van Amerongen. Wim van den Berg, former Managing Director of Van Amerongen, remains Director / Owner of Van Amerongen, and will be focusing on sister company b-Cat.
New logo
Van Amerongen has chosen a new, more modern and ‘fresher’ logo, which shows our close relationship with the fruit world. With the festive unveiling of the new logo advertising on the newly expanded building, the gradual introduction of this new logo and corporate identity as been started.
Van Amerongen is worldwide leader in Controlled Atmosphere, the technique of controlling the atmosphere in cold stores, adapted to the specific, ideal conditions for each particular kind of fruit or vegetable. Van Amerongen was founded in 1969 and is grown from a local player in the Betuwe (Netherlands) to an organization active in over 50 countries through an extensive network of distributors and agents. The past 20 years, Van Amerongen’s average growth rate is 11% per annum.
