"EU: "Increasing demand for Goosta-products"

The products of the brand Goosta of Lomme Primeurs from France sell very well. This as told by salesman Lode Keirsebilck. "The demand is very good and we found out that we were not prepared too well for such good sales. We muddled through. But we are working hard to have sufficient supply next winter."

 

"For two weeks we have also been supplying our products to England" Lode continues. "Also we supply to the Netherlands, Belgium and France. The demand is sufficient, but we suffer from 'positive growing pains.' Various growers could not always supply sufficient quantities. Also with the packing there were difficulties sometimes. At the moment we are looking for new products and will make sure of sufficient quantities. At the moment for instance we are in contact with more strawberry growers in Spain in order to obtain a larger volume. We think it is of great importance that the products satisfy the Goosta quality. We mainly contact wholesalers, speciality shops and hotels and restaurants with this brand."

 

Spring is almost here and shortly the first stone fruit from Goosta will arrive again. Thanks to our own department of the company, Spanish products can be delivered directly. "We expect to receive delicious nectarines, peaches, plums and cherries"

Lode tells. For the time being the focus is not on increasing the product assortment. "Of course products will be added, but first of all we want to make sure that we can supply the present offer" Lode explains. In addition we are enjoying getting new clients, but first of all our existing clients will be supplied."
