Fricasa Noatum Reefer Terminal Castellón has announced the end of the 2011/2012 citrus season in the United States. From Castellón's Port, around 50,000 pallets have been exported, representing around 90% of citrus exports to this country.
The predominant variety in this campaign has been the clemenules in a 2.3 kilo box. For this campaign 16 reefer ships, form the shipping company NYK of Lauritzen Cool and Seatrade NV, have been needed.Fricasa's terminal has more than 12,000 square feet of temperature controlled facilities, 15 independent cameras, with a total capacity of 11,000 pallets and with the ability to operate up to three ships simultaneously.
