"Just in time for Fruit Logistica in Berlin"

Village Farms website sports new branding

Village Farms’ website has undergone a change highlighting a fresh approach with the company’s new logo and branding strategy. Recently, Village Farms launched their ‘taste the name’ strategy for all its produce packaging depicting flavor profiles graphically on product labels in large word text. Following suit, the company’s new website design focuses on descriptors at the top of each page illustrating Village Farms core values and customer focused drivers. According to Village Farms Marketing Manager, Helen L. Aquino, "The new look and feel of the website expresses our consumer focused direction using large text that reiterates customer feedback we hear time and again such as ‘Sweet’, ‘Quality’, ‘Trust’, ‘Juicy’, ‘Fresh’, etc.."

Village Farms’ new site debuts just in time for Fruit Logistica where the company will be exhibiting to promote their proprietary GATES technology beginning on February 6, 2012 in Berlin, Germany. Doug Kling, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Village Farms says the company will be at the show with partner Verbakel Bomkas to promote the companies technology side of the business focused on controlled environment agriculture and Village Farms’ proprietary GATES technology.
