The products exported to the U.S to be bananas, pineapples and mangoes

Colombian Fruit will benefit from FTA with the U.S.

Producers and union leaders do not believe the Colombian government announcements, against NAFTA`s supposed benefits.

Bananas, pineapples and mangoes from Meta would be exported to the United States thanks to the FTA, according to Trade Minister Sergio Díaz Granados.

This bilateral treaty, approved on October 10th, 2011 by the United States Congress, aims to boost trade in the framework of free trade agreements in Latin America and the Caribbean.
