Farmers from Sinaloa are having trouble with tomato exports, as thousands of tons of products that have been sent to the United States have saturated the market for this product said Rafael Careaga Angulo.
The operations manager of the Farmers Association of the West Sinaloa River, said that there is even a risk that many of these shipments will be returned to their places of origin, which will negatively impact the pocket of many producers.
"The border is saturated and they want to return the product, which means that there is already a lot of tomato there and it is not selling," lamented Angulo.
