Hortyfruta launched a promotional campaign in European supermarkets with German actress Esther Schweins
The new image of Spanish vegetables
Hortyfruta the Andalucian Fruit and Vegetables company announced on Wednesday the start of the promotional campaign, under the slogan 'We care, you enjoy' - for European supermarkets. The aim is to restore confidence to the European consumer in the consumption of fresh vegetables and increase consumption.
Hortyfruta reported in a press conference that the campaign, in collaboration with Proexport aims to repair the damage caused to the sector by the crisis of the bacterium E. coli, and also aims to reach the consumer by sending a double message; a rational one "European vegetables are safe and their credentials prove it" and an emotional one, which affects the vegetables "they are good for what we want the most, good for you."
German actress, Esther Schweins, will be the image of Spanish fruit and vegetables in Germany, Austria and the UK for the next three years. Schweins is mother of two children and is very "Committed" to healthy living and is "very involved" socially. She has an extensive acting career and has participated in films, television series and plays.
On the other hand, the international trade fair for the largest horticultural sector in Europe, Fruit Logistica will be opening the campaign in Germany with an official presentation of We Care, You Enjoy! Representatives of the major chains, Proexport and Hortyfruta and the press consumer partners, as well as actress Esther Schweins will attend; they will talk to the media and explain the reasons which led them to become involved.
