Fruit and vegetable juice starts from the pole position in France

Fruit and vegetable juice starts from the pole position in the French market. According to a study by Kantar Worldpanel, 94% of French households buy this type of juice (fruit or vegetable) at least once a year.

As for purchasing levels, fruit juices are the most consumed category with 56 litres a year per household, followed by cola beverages (39 litres) well ahead of other soft drinks.

On the other hand, households are becoming increasingly concerned about the content of sugar in sweetened beverages. The percentage of households with some level of concern about it has not stopped growing during the last years (from 42.3% in 2007 to 44% in 2010), however, consumption of these beverages has not been affected.
